Key Initiatives
The Key Initiative Project is written into the scope of the WHPA administrator contract. It assigns dedicated staff resources to specific initiatives deemed to be an important and necessary step required to realize one or more Strategic Plan goals.
The Executive Committee and Council of Advisors members reviewed and prioritized the list of 22 initiatives.
The six Key Initiatives below were approved at the August Executive Committee meeting.

Facilitate consensus on energy savings attributable to economizer retrofits and different economizer strategies
Coordinate WHPA input for Statewide “Action Plan” Efforts
Coordinate current industry-led efforts to quantify energy savings attributable to QI and QM
Facilitate discussions on non-energy savings benefits of HVAC programs
Implement recommendations from WHPA Progress Report
Start dialog on the energy savings attributable to portable Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD)
