The Steering Committee is the main governing body of the Performance Alliance.  Its member companies are elected from the general membership; the chairmanship is a rotating position shared among California’s Investor-Owned Utilities.  Among the responsibilities of the Steering Committee are to make policy, to establish committees, and to select the chair of the committees.

The Steering Committee is an elected body, determined according to the Charter of the Western HVAC Performance Alliance.  The Steering Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at noon Pacific time.
