HVAC Stakeholder Engagement Strategy Committee

Minimize
Against the changing landscape of IOU administered energy efficiency programs in and beyond 2017, and with the added context that IOU-funded staff support of WHPA committees and working groups are not being continued into 2018, the HVAC Stakeholder Engagement Strategy Committee (HSES) was founded to revisit how best to continue capturing stakeholder input across HVAC market actors and explore relevant and cost-effective formats for achieving this.

With the October 18, 2017 Executive Committee decision to “approve taking the WHPA to legal entity structure with nonprofit status as an option”, the HSES Committee’s mission adjusted to focus on high-level scoping recommendations to aid the Chartering Committee’s development of Draft Public Benefit Nonprofit Corporation filing documents.

Co-Chaired by Paul Thomas (SDG&E) and Bob Wiseman (IHACI), the Committee reports to the Executive Committee. To see the complete WHPA organization chart, click here.
